What we do and how we got started
Southern Soils is a soil and plant tissue analytical laboratory that began with the purchase of Bradford Agrilab in 2011. We utilize the latest technology so we can give our customers quality services in a timely manner. On most occasions, results for soil samples submitted by 3 p.m. will be available the following business day. Plant tissue results are available within two business days.
Billy Bradford began serving the growers of Mississippi in 1986. Because of his vision and our expansion and diversification, we now work with customers throughout the mid-south. In addition to soil and tissue analysis, we prepare the results that are necessary for our customers’ precision ag software. If a customer uses a software program we haven’t worked with before, we coordinate with the developers to ensure our methods and recommendations are added to their program.
